About The Book Nook

Two floors, roughly forty thousand titles, and a staff picks shelf that is genuinely picked by staff. We buy books Tuesday through Thursday; bring a box and we will go through it with you.

The basement is poetry, drama, and local history. The upstairs back room is science fiction, which we have accepted is a pilgrimage site whether we planned it or not.

We do not have a search function. We have Marguerite, who has worked here for nineteen years and is better.
